Haunting portraits and emotional recollections take you behind enemy lines to uncover the Vietnam War through the eyes of soldiers. This portrait exhibit is a tribute to the service and sacrifice of Wisconsin Vietnam veterans and features veterans from all regions of the state. This exhibit is presented as a component of Wisconsin Public Television’s Wisconsin Vietnam War Stories project.

Description:Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Closed Mondays and national holidays. Located just minutes from the Highway 21 exit off Highway 41.
Since 1924, the Museum has offered exhibits created from a collection of more than 250,000 artifacts, images and documents. The museum tells the rich story of exploration, settlement and development of the Lake Winnebago region in Wisconsin. The museum and its extensive archives are housed in the 1908 Edwardian mansion of lumber baron Edgar P. Sawyer and the modern William Steiger addition.
